Love it. This guy made a bunch of real world crates covered with the textures of the crates from Counterstrike and just left them lying around… cool.

There is no ‘global water shortage’ – of course making it ready to drink/clean/cool etc and shifting it to where it’s needed is a challange – but that has been true for thousands of years.
In fact, while most of our energy is produced by dumping carbon and heat into the atmosphere, we’ll be getting more available water, not less, as we melt our icecaps.
Nuclear reactors are dependent on suitable locations for water supply – but that’s not news, and most are located on very large bodies of water – oceans usually.
Living in the UK, I’m used to rising water transportation costs, small % change in rainfalls, neglected maitainance, gross incompetence, etc, being talked up as ‘water shortage’ by water companies. This makes their job easier (increases their profits) but is still lying. In the UK we’re never more than 100 miles from trillions of gallons of pretty clean water, and the pace of technoligical improvement is reducing the costs of supplying clean water far faster than our climate is changing. Any talk of ‘water shortages’ is lying.
Article: Futurismic: Nuclear Drought (Futurismic is a great blog btw, not ranting at them!)
